Meet the faces behind the bond~

D'Lawnda Williams ("DeeDee") is the Introvert. Meldon Joiner-Moore ("Tweetie") is the Extrovert.

Both of us are Californians and we love most of what it brings. From the beaches to the drama, we are right where we should be.

We met decades ago and the brief story goes like this... (Tweet: I knocked on the door to my friend's house so we could get ready to go out...as I walked towards the mirror to make sure I was all cute and stuff, this person walked past me with the most confident and sassy walk ever...(yes, this was DeeDee). I told my friend that "she" was not going anywhere with us with that "walk." My friend informed that the "walk" was normal and we needed to go! Rolling my eyes, I walked out the door and we all went to take on the night and had ball! Who would have known that we would soon thereafter be so close and the world's Sistas by Choice ("SBC").

We are two people, with two different personalities but we share deep connections and values. We love each other, we love ourselves, we love our families and we are loyal human beings. We enjoy traveling and spending time with fun people. We are adventurous but not too tempting.

We understand there is only one life on earth so we live it to the best of our potential. I am her~she is me~we are us!

My name is D'Lawnda "DeeDee" Williams. I am a single mother of 3 grown children, and I have 3 grandbabies (1 is our Angel).

I was born in Monroe, LA, raised in Seattle, WA and have been in Southern California for the past 34 years.

I am the somewhat of the "quiet one" but once I get to know you, then some of my extrovert may come out. I can also be known as an "Ambivert," which is someone who has a personality that is a mix of both introvert and extrovert traits. Ambiverts are sometimes called "outgoing introverts" and I would consider myself to be outgoing.

I am the Meldon "Tweetie" Joiner-Moore. I am married to an amazing man, who is my everything, along with our 8 kids (7 are grown, thank God), 2 grand-kids and 2 grand-dogs.

I was proudly born and raised in Pasadena, California. I enjoy traveling, being with family & friends, working (not traffic tho), attending and ministering in church, doing my baby hair and wearing lip gloss!

I am outgoing, self~inspired and fearless. I love life and the shine it brings to most of my days. God is my everything and there is not an ounce of negotiation within our relationship.
